 (2) A member of the Independent Electrical Contractors Association, South Florida Chapter.

(3) Per apprentice per year.  Participating Employers are billed after 1st night of class for entire year.  Tuition is partially refundable.  Refer to Section V(E) in the Apprenticeship – Established Policies section for further information.

(4) Books are a separate cost from tuition.  For list of books, refer to the Book List link on the apprenticeship webpage.  IEC Curriculum & Supplemental Textbooks are non-refundable and must be paid prior to first night of class.

(5) The majority of the supplemental textbooks purchased for 1st year are used in subsequent years, thereby cost of supplemental textbooks is less for subsequent years.

 

APPRENTICE WAGE SCHEDULE:  Participating Employers agree to pay not less than the following wages to the apprentice during each period of electrical apprenticeship:

Based on journeyperson wage rate of $19.00 and work week of 40 hours.

Wage increases are scheduled at 1,000 hour intervals provided the apprentice has also:  (1) achieved the six month anniversary of his/her indenture for the specific 1,000 hour level; AND (2) completed the related instruction each year with a minimum academic average of 70% or higher, as required.
